Diageo special releases 2023 set
€1.699,00Complete set of the Diago annually released 2023 “special releases” series. The set contains a wide variety of Diageo distillery’s (some more known than others) and most notably containing a 12y old Roseisle (wich is rarely botteled as a distillery botteling) and a 27y old Glenkinchie. This year’s theme is: “Spirited exchange”. Each botteling is finished witch a different cask type to elevate the whisky even more (with two exceptions): Set contains 8 bottles in total.
- Mortlach: Finished in a combination of ex-Kanosuke Japanese whisky and ex-Pinot Noir casks
- Tallisker: Finished in a combination of White, Tawny and Ruby Port Casks
- Clynelish: Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon American Oak cask
- Oban: Finished in Caribbean Pot still Rum Casks
- Lagavulin: Finished in Don Julio Añejo Tequila casks
- Roseisle: First fill ex-bourbon and refill casks
- Singleton of Glendulllan: Finished in Chardonnay de Bourgogne French Oak casks
- Glenkichie: Matured in refill American & European Oak barrels and butts

€299,00Mortlach “The katana’s edge” is part of the special releases set of 2023 by Diageo. This beast of Dufftown is one on its own. The combination of both ex-Pinot Noir and Japanese ex-Kanusoke whisky casks makes this whisky a full bodied beast
full of fruit and chocolate. Plum and spice are followed by black fruits accompanied with the structure of the Pinot cask. A delightfull and special whisky.
